The warrior branch of the Circle of the Solar Goddess, who wield magic to fight against Rogue Drones. Assembled as a group of paladins against the machine threat, they are able to cast and form light into weapons, using Lanterns, weapon-focus tools gifted by Fyrwyl. The weapons of light are called Solar Flares, in homage to Nuresh, the Cosmic Lantern.
Solar Flares can take many forms wielded by the Terminal Knights, often manifesting in the shape of their personalities and desires. Some are born with it, others can learn it through rigorous study and training, but the Circle of the Solar Goddess is accepting of any who are willing to put in the work.
Their armor is constructed of thought-metal, a hardening ferro-fluid formed by electrical charges and neural signals, able to change shape.
There is a rare type of Terminal Knight who can cast and wield Solar Flares without Lanterns, but it is said to be extremely difficult.
